Mechanic Liability Policy – AMAS Automotive LLC
AMAS Automotive LLC provides professional mobile mechanic services; however, automotive repairs involve complex systems and pre-existing conditions that may not always be visible during diagnosis.
By approving any service or repair, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Pre-Existing Conditions:
AMAS Automotive LLC is not responsible for pre-existing mechanical issues, worn components, hidden damage, or previously failed parts that may become apparent during or after a repair.
Related Component Failure:
During repairs, surrounding or related components may fail due to age, wear, corrosion, or prior damage. AMAS Automotive LLC is not liable for failures of parts that were not directly serviced or replaced.
Customer-Supplied Parts:
If the customer provides their own parts, AMAS Automotive LLC is not responsible for part defects, incorrect parts, premature failure, or additional labor required due to those parts.
Vehicle Condition:
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is safe and accessible for service. AMAS Automotive LLC is not liable for issues related to unsafe vehicles, heavily rusted components, seized bolts, prior improper repairs, or structural damage discovered during service.
Diagnostic Limitations:
Vehicle diagnostics are based on symptoms present at the time of inspection. Additional problems may appear after repairs are performed. AMAS Automotive LLC is not responsible for additional repairs needed to resolve underlying or separate issues.
Damage Disclosure:
Customers must disclose any known damage, warning lights, accidents, or previous repair attempts before service begins.
Limitation of Liability:
AMAS Automotive LLC’s liability, if any, is limited strictly to the value of the service performed and does not extend to indirect damages, loss of vehicle use, towing, rental vehicles, or additional repair costs.
